Comet Filter Material Filter

     Comet filter material filter is a type of high-speed filter with new fiber filter material as the technology core. As a filter material of new structure, the new fiber filter material boasts advantages of high precision of filtration and high interception capacity, as well as advantages of high efficient backwash and low water consumption of granular filter materials. Filter bed’s pore distribution formed by the filter material is close to the ideal filtering layer structure. When filtering, the filter material witnesses decreasing porosity along with the water flow. Porosity distribution is even on one section, water flow consistent during filtering, large and even interception capacity, and vertical interspaces of the filter bed section gradually decrease from upside down to form a graded distribution, which facilitates effective separation of suspended substances in water. Particles desorbed from the upper filter bed can be easily intercepted by the lower filter bed.
     During filtration, due to the specific gravity differences of the core and cellosilk, the core consolidates the fiber. Because of the small size of the core, evenness of the interspaces distribution of the filter section is not greatly affected, rendering vertical and horizontal deep filtration, and improving pollution-carrying capacity, filtration precision and speed of the filtering bed. For backwash, due to the specific gravity differences of the core and cellosilk, the cellosilk disperses along with the backwash water flow and swings powerfully. Additionally, the air scrubbing makes mutual collision of the filter materials and thus generates relatively violent rotation and turning, intensifying the mechanical force on the filter materials backwashed and making the suspended solids attached on the surface of cellosilk be easily removed, and thus improving the higher cleanness and lower water consumption of the fiber filter backwash.   
     It is mainly applied to the water treatment in industries including power, petroleum, chemical engineering, coal, metallurgy, steel, electronics, food, rural water supply, industrial water, and boiler water treatment, reuse of reclaimed water, pretreatment of advanced water treatment, domestic water and swimming pool to effectively remove various pollutants. Filtering precision: ≥5um, removal rate of suspended solids over 95%, pollution-carrying capacity: 15kg/cubic meter-35kg/ cubic meter. Lower water consumption in backwash: less than 0.5%-2% of period water yield. Less dose and lower operation expense: due to the filter bed structure and features of the filter material, flocculant input is 1/2-1/3 of that of general techniques. With the improvement of period water yield, the operation expense of each tone is accordingly reduced.
