Paper Water
Generally, paper-making plants consume a large quantity of water of high quality. However, main water source used is from underground water which contains calcium, magnesium, iron and other ions. As fibers can absorb iron, therefore, papers are darkened and yellowed. Fortunately, the above problem can be resolved with mechanical filter and iron and manganese removal filter. Mechanical filter is mainly applied for the pretreatment of reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, ion exchange and softening desalting system, as well as coarse filtration for industries with lower requirements for water quality, circulating cooling water, sewage and reused water recollection and reuse processes. When the suspended substance content in raw water is lower than 30-50mg/L, it can be used as pretreatment equipment for ion exchange and softening processes. Also, it can be applied for coarse filtration for industries with lower requirements for water quality.
