Walnut Shell Filter
Walnut shell filter adopts walnut shell as filter media. Specially process walnut shell features large surface and high absorption ability, and thus boasts high removal rate. For the hydrophilic and non-oleophilic nature, walnut shells stirred during backwashing rub each other, rendering high desorption capability, strong regeneration capability, good chemical stability and long-term stability of the filter performance. The equipment adopts deep bed filtration, greatly improving interception capacity, and replaces the common water sieve tube with anti-blocking maze of patented technology to prevent the filter being blocked due to long operation or water quality change. It features high absorption and interception capacity, oil immersion prevention and dual-removal of oil and suspended substances, easy regeneration and requires no dosing for backwashing; also it is suitable for series connection as well as parallel connection.
The filter is a type of separation equipment based on the filter separation principle research, adopting oil-proof filter---special walnut shell as filtering media. Relying on the large surface, high absorption and interception capacity, it removes the oil and suspended substances in water. The equipment can be controlled both automatically and manually. Water flows from upside down and through the water distributor, filter and water collector to finish the filtration. During backwashing, the stirrer turns the filter materials, and water flows from downside up to thoroughly clean and regenerate the filter materials.
