Fiber Bundle Filter
High-efficient fiber bundle filter is a type of pressure fiber filter of advanced structure and excellent performance, successfully various problems of granular filter materials, and being an upgrade of filters of granular filter materials like quartz sand. Inside the equipment, there are several vertical fiber bundles with the upper end fixed on the perforated plate and the lower end fixed on the floating pore plate. It adopts fiber specially processed and with higher bulkiness and high absorption capacity as filter materials. The small filter materials’ diameter greatly increases the specific surface area and surface free energy of the filter materials, increasing the contact of the impurities in water and filter materials, and absorption capacity of filter materials, and thus improving the filtering efficiency and intersection capacity without increasing the filter resistance.
During filtration, the floating pore plate, under the inflow hydraulic pressure, moves along the water flow. With the fluid movement force taken full advantages of, the distance between the two plates is decreasing, making the fiber bundle compacted. Based on the fluid mechanic principle, the density of the fiber filter materials is automatically adjusted, giving full play to the intersection function of the entire filter layer, and filter the water with turbidity of ≤20mg/L into that of less than 1mg/L.
High-efficient fiber bundle filter can effectively remove suspended substances, organics, colloids, iron, and manganese in water. It is widely applied to industrial water supply system, circulating cooling water filtration, heat supply reuse water filtration, and high purity water preparation, deep processing system of sewage, domestic drinking water and swimming pool water cycle processing.
