Process water used by pharmaceutical manufacturers mainly refers to the water used in the processes including bottle washing and preparation for production. Avoid relating name of water with the manufacturing process, for example, deionized water, demineralized water and distailled water. Disconnect the manufacturing process of water from its name, but classify water based on the quality indicators from the chemical and micro-organic perspectives (e.g. Chinese Pharmacopeia stipulates that purified water can be prepared through three methods. Better method may be studied in the future).
Pharmaceutical preparation, LVP, TCM drinks, health care products and bio-genetic engineering require purified water equipment meeting GMP certification.
Water quality meets the regulations of 2000 Pharmacopoeia Standards and GMP.
Full automatic operation and conditional full automatic processing procedure of equipment (like backwash, regeneration, acid pickling and disinfection processes).
All equipment and pipelines meet GMP requirements (back end processing equipment such as sterilizer, filter, end water tank and pipelines adopt 316L materials, and pipelines for pretreatment equipment adopt 304 pipes).

Secondary RO adopts the yields of primary RO as raw water for secondary reverse osmosis to get water with conductivity ≤3μs/cm. It has been widely applied in drinking pure water. RO technology usually is applied to pre-desalination, reducing the load of ion exchange resin by over 90% and resin regenerant amount by 90%. Thus, it not only saves operation expenses, but also is conducive to environment protection. The achievements of RO excel that of distillation, electrodialysis and ion exchange.
